I’ve had my Ricoh printer for about a year, and it’s been reliable, but lately, the prints are coming out with faint streaks on one side. I cleaned the outside and shook the toner, but it didn’t make much difference. I know there are settings and steps in the manual for cleaning inside parts, but I’ve never done it myself and don’t want to mess anything up. Has anyone tried simple fixes for this before calling in service?

Many customers are surprised at how quickly professional cleaners can handle a large amount of work. If you want, you can take a look at https://ukrainecleaners.com/Renton. Cleaning companies use optimal methods, equipment, and proven products, which allows them to tidy up apartments, houses, and offices in a short time without compromising the quality of cleaning and compliance with sanitary standards.
In my office, we’ve noticed that just keeping a regular routine of dusting around the printer and placing it in a spot with better airflow has made a big difference in keeping print quality consistent. Sometimes it’s not just the internal parts, but also how much dust and paper fibers build up around the machine that can cause issues in the long run. A little preventive care saves a lot of hassle later.
I ran into almost the same issue with my Ricoh a few months back. The streaks ended up being from dust on the laser glass, and cleaning it carefully made a huge difference. I also learned that some of the models have built-in maintenance prompts you can check in the menu. What helped me was browsing through https://manuals.online/ricoh — it’s got step-by-step instructions for cleaning and resetting counters, which gave me the confidence to do it myself. Since then, I also run the toner-saving mode, and it stretches the cartridges a lot longer than I expected.
