For beginners, I really recommend island-based departures. You stay at your hotel every night, no need for long boat sleeps. They take you from Mahé, Praslin or La Digue to good spots for tuna, wahoo, marlin and more. Everything is included – gear, bait, experienced captain. Very comfortable and safe option.
