About the Program

Do you need to take a boaters safety course to get an Ohio boating license? You will need to take a course if you were born on or after Jan. 1, 1982, and will be operating a boat or PWC over 10hp or more in Ohio.

Ages 12 and older are welcome to take part in this three-day class to earn your Ohio Boaters Education Certification. The last class day will include a review session, lunch and the licensing test.
